1、分數詞是以基數詞和序數詞合成的，基數詞代表分子，序數詞代表分母。
基絕皮數詞：one 、two、three、four……
序數詞：first、second、third、fourth、fifth……
2、分子大於1時，分母需要用複數。
例：3/4 three quarters
3/4相當於3個1/4 ,所以分要用複數）
3、分數中的分母為2時，要用half 表示，不能用second ,因為second是一秒鐘的意思。

4、帶有整數的分數，整數部分以基數來讀，並用and和分數連線起來。
例：5 2/3 five and two thirds
5、表示百分之一可以說one(a)hundredth，但並型差更常用one percent或per cent，即用百分數表示法來表達。

6、名詞part有「……分之一」的意思，分子大於1時，part用複數。
